hello, several months ago we reached out to you and wondered why the bathroom at Lakeside Park closest to East Stella has been fenced off and close with little or no work going on there for over a year?? obviously the contractor doesn't have a clue what they're doing and this needs to be reevaluated as you couldn't even respond with an update. secondly if you could let us know why that whole side of the park is now fenced off with no signage explaining?? usually you put up signs in advance to give people time to plan. maybe you've decided to finally clean up all of The biohazard sharps left by the junkies, broken crack pipes let alone methamphetamine and fentanyl contamination that needs to be evaluated by a professional and cleaned just like the hundred acre woods before anyone's kids play their, this will also eliminate the city's liability. for many years you were diligent about locking the gates of Jason to the park every night when the signage showed it was closed and not opening them until morning. this deterred a lot of criminal activity and increased safety but for some reason you're not concerned with that priority anymore and choose to spend our tax money on justified on more frivolous expenditures without explanation or accountability. please have someone reach out to us and if at a minimum give us a time frame on when that bathroom will be done, why it's not done already let alone what's being done at the park and it's completion date. historically you guys take twice as long as what you initially plan for and things end up costing twice as much as the initial estimate or approved amount. many thanks
